Festival & performance booking
For international and South African festival programming, concert and club bookings, and trio or ensemble performances. Ramon led his trio at the Montreux Jazz Festival Franschhoek in March 2026 and tours across Europe and Asia — enquiries about availability, technical requirements and repertoire are welcome.
Masterclasses, residencies & university exchanges
Ramon heads the jazz division at Stellenbosch University and is a scholar of the goema rhythm and Cape Jazz history. He is available to universities, conservatoires, festivals and youth programmes — in South Africa and internationally — for:
- Masterclasses and clinics for university and conservatoire students
- Lectures on Cape Jazz history, goema rhythm and South African jazz
- Jazz ensemble, combo and big-band coaching
- Short teaching residencies alongside concert dates
- Student and staff exchange collaborations with music departments
Enquiries about availability, formats and fees are welcome — please select "Masterclass or lecture" in the form.
There is a precedent: a December 2023 invitation from Prof. h.c. Martin Zenker of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München became a concert tour of Germany and Belgium and, ultimately, a Memorandum of Understanding between Stellenbosch University's conservatoire and HMTM Munich. If your department is considering something similar, that is a conversation worth having.
